Tech Tip: Known Account

I have never used known before but here is my first post it looks like a pretty cool site

Week 15 Reading Evaluation

I think my favorite readings were those in the start of the semester. I really liked the short stories that had a good lesson to them.
I think the most effective way for me to do the reading diary was to just write my thoughts as i was reading.
I liked to do my readings in the morning because it was an easy way to start my day.
I really liked that we got to comment on other students work. I think that it was a cool way to get feed back.
I think that it is a good idea to do the reading the day that it is assigned that way if something comes up you still have that extra time to finish it.

reflections

I think my most valuable take away from this class was the growth mindset. it made me look at school in a new way. I wish that I would have known about it sooner so that I could have spent more time learning instead of worrying about grades

Reading Diary B: Lang's European Fairy Tales

so this is my second to last reading diary. I can not believe how fast this semester has went by.
as i was reading Lang's European Fairy Tales I I had many different thoughts cross my mind. I think my favorite parts of this section was The Voice of Death. this story i just so...i dont know how else to say it but creepy. this was my favorite story that i think i have read in this class. if you have read my other reading diary posts you will see that i like stories that with different levels to it and this story had just that. the first thing that this story had was a good lesson that i thought was money cant buy you everything. the second thing that this story had was a very good story. i love the idea of a voice calling people and they can not refuse it no matter how hard they try they still end up doing what it asks. this idea just really fascinates me but it also really scares me. obviously the voice represents death. I think the story does a good job illustrating how no matter what you or what you have you can not stop death. It is something that we all must face even if we do not know what it is it will find us. ( wow that was a little dark for me )

Reading Diary A: Lang's European Fairy Tales

Wow so this is my last reading diary A for this class i choice to read the Lang's European Fairy Tales  unit. over all it was pretty good. I think my three favorite stories in the unit were The Master Cat, or Puss in Boots, and the continuation, The Dirty Shepherdess and the continuation, and The Young Man Who Would Have His Eyes Opened.
these are in no particular order.
I really liked Puss in Boots because that cat is just the coolest. the first time i ever heard of puss in boots was in the movie shrek.I never knew what his story was so when i saw that in the reading i was pretty excited. I feel like puss represents the best cat of all time. He takes a lot of the characteristics that we know about cats and personifies them. the best example of this is his cleverness and his wit. he is able to trick every one into doing what he wants. and by the end of the story after all he has done he becomes royalty.
I really liked the Dirty Shepherdess. i liked the different lessons that it had in it. like do not be quick to anger. the dada should have thought about what she was saying before he got mad at her. I am glad that she forgave him at the end. and the other lesson that looks are not everything.
In Young Man Who Would Have His Eyes Opened i really liked the idea that knowledge is not everything infact it can even hurt you and drive you mad.
